These included the Alan Turing Institute (Silver), DARE (Lunch sponsor), JP Morgan, STFC, Oxford University’s AIMS CDT, Amazon (Prize sponsors), SUMO digital (social sponsor), Zoo digital (social sponsor) and a number of stalls including Keysight and Opteran.<\/p>\n We also have a number of University Supporters<\/a> and partners, who supported us financially and\/or pledged to cover their own student travel.<\/p>\n The local chairs were Aline Villavicencio<\/a> and Heidi Christensen<\/a>, from the University of Sheffield, event chair Hannah Dee<\/a> from Aberystwyth University, and deputy Safia Barikzai<\/a> from London South Bank University.\u00a0 We were ably assisted in our endeavours by Amanda Clare and Edel Sherratt of Aberystwyth University and Lucy Hunt of Lancaster University. Max Rowlands from Sheffield was an invaluable asset, and Jon Jeffery of the BCS helped out hugely on the front desk.<\/p>\n We’ve had a few blogs\/articles on the day and if you know of any more let us know and we’ll add them here.<\/p>\n We had talks from<\/p>\n The panel (an opportunity for the attendees to ask questions of women \/ nb people in tech) consisted of:<\/p>\n Our posters were great, and the judges had a really hard job choosing the best ones.
